Formerly OmniDeq. Modernisation and containerisation pathways rather than migration.

What it is

CloudHedge rebranded OmniDeq to CHAI in July 2025. CHAI DART performs architectural analysis to identify rehost, replatform, refactor or retire pathways with effort estimates and risk scores. CHAI Flow then containerises applications and generates the Kubernetes manifests and pipelines to deploy them.

How we use it

This is a natural next question after an assessment, not part of one. An OLA that finds a large SQL Server Enterprise footprint has just identified the best modernisation candidates in the estate.

One thing to watch: much of the material still online uses the old OmniDeq name, including AWS's own Prescriptive Guidance entry, which has not been updated for the rename. Treat it as current in substance but dated in labelling.
